Variegated Alocasia ‘Stingray’

The variegated Alocasia ‘Stingray’ is named for its unusual leaf shape. Each blade ends in a long, narrow point that resembles a stingray’s tail. Cream, pale green, yellow-green, or white variegation may appear as marbling, speckling, or larger sections across the green foliage.

Care: Light: Bright, indirect light   Water: Maintain moderate, even moisture while allowing the surface to begin drying. Humidity: Humidity is a must for this plant keep it in a humid room, case or display cabinet for best results. 

Pet safety: Toxic if chewed or ingested; contains insoluble calcium oxalate crystals

*Seller note: This is a young plant still developing its mature proportions. The new leaf has a creamy yellow variegation and it's tails is tucked underneath while the more mature leaves hardened off to a more white color. Future leaves may change significantly in size, shape, and coloration as the plant establishes itself. Variegation is naturally unpredictable and cannot be guaranteed on every new leaf. This plant is currently housed in a display case that maintains 80%+ humidity at all times and under a Barina T5 full spectrum grow light.
